SpongeBob Musical at Oshawa’s Regent Theatre running to July 30

Tickets are still available for The SpongeBob Musical, now playing at the Regent Theatre in Oshawa.
Featuring an eclectic soundtrack with music from Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, The Flaming Lips, Cyndi Lauper, Yolanda Adams, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants and David Bowie, among others, the stage musical is about SpongeBob and the characters of Bikini Bottom as they face the total annihilation of their undersea world.
Based on the series by Stephen Hillenburg and a book by Kyle Jarrow (with musical production by Tina Landau) and produced by Nickelodeon, the original production opened in Chicago in 2016 and was on Broadway in New York by December 2017.
The musical opened to critical acclaim and earned twelve Tony Award nominations in 2018.
