Stabbing reported at Oshawa Centre

Police have reported a stabbing at the Oshawa Centre.

According to Durham Regional Police, a victim was stabbed at the mall on King St. They have not provided any detail about the victim save that they sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators have two suspects in custody, though they have not been named or described.

As a result of the attack the mall’s food court area on the east side of the building has been shut down.

The last incident at the Oshawa Centre was a jewelry store robbery on the west side of the mall on Jan. 23. This resulted in the arrest of four suspects including three teenagers
