Stabbing victim dies after being dropped off at Ajax-Pickering hospital

An unidentified 19-year old man is dead after a stabbing in Ajax last night.

Durham Regional Police confirmed they were called to Ajax-Pickering Hospital around 2 a.m. December 22 after a man was dropped off suffering stab wounds.

The man was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre where he later died from his wounds.

Police have spoken to witnesses who brought the victim to hospital but are still looking for more information. The victim has not been identified by police, as next-of-kin have yet to be informed.

The Major Crime Unit is investigating.
