String of break and enters leads to charges for Bowmanville man

A string of break-and-enters have led to charges for a Bowmanville man.

Durham Police responded to four break-and-enters at businesses near King Street West and Scugog Street in Bowmanville on June 4. The break-ins occurred between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. In each case, a man shattered the glass storefronts to gain access. In one case he made off with some cash.

Responding officers combed the area and got a hold of security footage showing the break-ins. They then identified a suspect.

Jeremy Richardson, 21 of Bowmanville is charged with four counts of break-and-enter. He’s since been released with conditions.
