Suspect wanted after two B&Es in Pickering

Police are on the lookout for an unidentified man after two businesses in Pickering were broken into.

A man broke into the Amici Restaurant at 1305 Pickering Pkwy around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 19. The restaurant is located in downtown Pickering between Liverpool Road and Highway 401.

During the break-in, the man broke through a glass door into the attached business, The Case for Wine. Both businesses are in the Pickering Office Centre. Breaking through this door set off a loud alarm and the man fled the scene.

Durham Police describe the suspect as a white man with a medium build. He was wearing an orange jacket with black pants and grey shoes.
