The theme of this weekend’s Tank Saturday event at the Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum is Blitzkrieg! as the spotlight is shown on vehicles that were used by Canada and the Allies and Axis nations during the Second World War.

Visitors can experience a live simulated tank battle between two WW II adversaries in the Tank Arena, enter the Hanger at the Military Vehicle Conservation Centre and see more 50 machines on display and enjoy the museum gallery that takes you through 200 years of Canadian military history.

Tank Saturday also includes a Kidz Zone with military themed activities and crafts, the World of Tanks experience exhibit and lunch and beverage service at the historic 420 Wing.

You can also ride in a real military vehicle.

Doors open at 10 a.m. and the museum will close at 3 p.m. The battle re-enactment will take place at 1 p.m. in the outdoor arena.

Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Kids under 12 and active military, veterans and cadets are free.
