Teen stabbed on DRT bus at Pickering GO Station

A youth was stabbed while on a bus at the Pickering GO Station Thursday afternoon. A 15-year-old has been charged.

Durham Police officers responded to an assault call at the GO Station on Bayly Street at 4:20 p.m. Thursday. Police say the teen was stabbed by another youth on a DRT bus during a verbal altercation.

The victim was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  The suspect was located at the GO Station and taken into custody without incident.

This was an isolated incident, police said, and the victim and suspect are known to each other.

A 15-year-old Oshawa boy is charged with assault cause bodily harm and possession of a dangerous weapon. He was released on an Undertaking to his guardian.
