Teenage cyclist with life-threatening injuries after being struck by vehicle in Ajax

A 13-year-old cyclist is fighting for his life after being struck by a vehicle on Rossland Road West in Ajax Thursday morning.
The teen was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after the collision and is listed with life-threatening injuries. Durham Police say the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
Rossland Road between Carter Bennett Drive and Ravenscroft Road is closed in both directions for the investigation.
