Theft of car parts from Whitby dealership prompts search for suspect

Investigators are trying to identify the man they believe stole car parts from a Whitby dealership.

A man went to the Subaru dealership at  1705 Dundas St. W. on June 21 and stole some car parts, according to Durham Regional Police. Investigators have not shared what kind of parts were taken.

Police released a surveillance camera still of a suspect on Aug. 29 in an effort to identify the man. They describe him as a 25-30 year old white man with a thin build, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black and grey hat, construction vest, and dark clothing at the time.
