Thirty-eight new COVID-19 cases in Durham – 12 from Oshawa

COVID-19 cases continue to climb in Durham Region, with 38 new cases reported Thursday, including two more in hospital.

Twelve of the new cases are from Oshawa, with Ajax (9) and Pickering (8) also contributing to the new case numbers.

There are 221 active cases of the virus in Durham and the number of cases traced to the highly contagious Delta variant now stands at 505.
