Thirty-two school bus routes – 15 in Clarington – cancelled today

After a good week where school bus cancellations were kept as low as single digits, the number jumped back up to 32 today (May 26), including 15 in Clarington.
There were route cancellations at 22 schools in total, including St. Joseph Catholic schools in Oshawa, Uxbridge and Bowmanville.
Three routes going to Lydia Trull in Courtice were cancelled today, along with Clarington school bus routes to Duke of Cambridge, Bowmanville High, MJ Hobbs, St. Francis of Assisi, The Pines, Clarke High, Orono, St. Joseph, Courtice Intermediate and Courtice Secondary.
In Oshawa, some routes were cancelled to Sunset Heights, Eastdale and St. Joseph; in Whitby it is All Saints and Meadowcrest; in Uxbridge it’s Scott Central, Uxbridge Secondary and St. Joseph. Two routes to Meadowcrest and a PM route to St. Wilfrid are cancelled today in Pickering, as well as an AM route to Alexander Graham Bell in Ajax.
