Three busted on drug charges in Oshawa hotel

Three people were arrested on drug charges after a bust at an Oshawa hotel.

Durham Regional Police received a report of unwanted people at the Comfort Inn on Bloor St. When police showed up a man was seen sprinting from the hotel.

The officers caught up to the man and arrested him. They say they found some drugs on him. Meanwhile, two women were found in a hotel room and charged.

Firstly, a 21-year-old man from Ajax was charged with two counts of possession for trafficking of fentanyl and cocaine and breach of probation.

Next, a 25-year-old woman from Courtice was charged with possession of cocaine and failure to attend court.

Finally, a 29-year-old woman of no fixed address is charged with two counts of failure to attend and car theft.
