The Region of Durham is continuing to show positive signs on the COVID-19 front with just three new cases of the virus reported yesterday and just 40 active cases overall.

Oshawa, Clarington and Scugog reported one new case each. For Scugog, it was their first case this week and for Whitby, it was their third consecutive day without a new case.

Durham hospitals and its long-term care homes are still COVID-free and there is just one student at a school in the region at home isolating.

There remains one corporate/office outbreak in Durham but a long-standing outbreak at a local factory has been resolved.
