Three Oshawa schools under hold and secure order as Durham Police respond to armed situation

Three schools in Oshawa have been placde under a hold and secure order Thursday morning (Nov. 11) as Durham Police respond to an armed and barricaded situation.
Police said Clara Hughes Public School, St. Hedwig Catholic School and David Bouchard Public School have been placed in hold and secure until the situation has been resolved.
Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area of Olive Ave and Wilson Road as police work to resolve the situation.
