Track ‘back up and running’ after replacement in Pickering

A sports track in Pickering closed for repairs has now reopened.

The track at Beverley Morgan Park in Pickering was closed in July after showing signs of wear and tear. City councillors voted to replace the track in April as it was quickly approaching its end of life.

But yesterday (Aug. 3), the City of Pickering announced the track has reopened.

Students and local sports teams regularly use the track for sports and training activities.
