Update: Police confirmed via social media that the truck had been removed by 4 p.m. All area roads are reopened.
A tractor-trailer is once again stuck under a Clarington bridge cutting off traffic.
The tractor got wedged in the tunnel on King Ave. near Farrow Ave. in Newcastle on Sept. 11 according to Durham Regional Police. The tunnel allows CN cargo trains to pass overhead.
Investigators are examining the crash scene at the moment and have not commented on potential charges. No one has been reported injured.
This is the second truck to get stuck in the tunnel this year. Back in March, a 24-year-old driver from New Brunswick wound up wedged. He was later charged with careless driving. Police noted at the time there were several signs along the road to warn drivers.
Police have not provided an estimate on how long the roads may be closed.
