Future students will have the opportunity to see the campus and residence, learn about paid co-op streams, meet professors and students and apply or accept an offer to the school on the spot at Trent University Durham GTA’s March Break Open House Saturday.

“We look forward to welcoming future students to campus to give them a taste of the enhanced Trent Durham GTA experience,” Trent Durham Dean Dr. Scott Henderson said of the Open House, which will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “We want students to see the transformation that is happening on campus, connect with future professors, ask questions about our programs and learn about the many innovative, community-focused opportunities for student engagement. Open House will also showcase the student life experience on campus, where prospective students can see first-hand the fun and close-knit community feel that this campus has to offer.”

Visitors at March Break Open House can explore the benefits of Trent Durham through campus and residence tours, talking one-on-one with faculty and attending info sessions about life at Trent and programs such as Business, Journalism & Creative Writing; Policing & Community Well-Being; Computer Science; Law & Arts and Law & Business, to name a few.

Students at Open House will also be able to apply for a guaranteed place in residence on-the-spot, have their residence application fee waived, and enter a draw to win free residence and meal plan for a year.

All students who attend Open House are also automatically entered in a draw for a chance to win free first-year tuition.

Students can also ‘make it official’ by visiting the Trent Durham Student Association and buying a Trent Durham t-shirt or hoodie.
