Truck drives through McDonald’s play area window in Oshawa

There were no injuries reported but the wall of a McDonald’s restaurant on the Oshawa-Clarington border suffered plenty of damage after a pick-up truck drove into it Thursday morning.
Durham Police confirmed the truck drove through the play area window of the McDonald’s, located on King St. E at Townline Road, around 10:30 a.m.
The front of the white Dodge Ram pickup truck was partially destroyed by the impact.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and it is not yet known if charges to the driver are pending.
