TV series The Way Home makes annual visit to Port Perry

The cameras are rolling in Port Perry this week with shooting for season three of The Way Home, a television series starring Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh and Sadie Laflamme-Snow.

Prep work for the filming happened Monday and interior and exterior shots will take place Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The wrap is Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

NE Way Home Production vehicles and various pieces of film equipment will be located on:

• East side of Water St between North Street and Mary Street
• North side of Queen Street near Water Street
• South side of Queen Street near Water Street
• Scugog Lot 5 at 204 Water Street (several spaces will blocked off for crew and set vehicles but the remaining spaces will be open to the public)
• Latcham Centre (121 Queen Street) – only when required

During filming there may be intermittent traffic stoppages on Water Street between North Street and Mary Street and Queen St between Water Street and Perry Street.

Scenes in the series involve filming near Palmer Park and in and around the cafe at the intersection of Water Street and Queen Street.
