Two arrested after stolen car crashes into four other vehicles in Oshawa

Two men face multiple charges after allegedly breaking into a home in Whitby, stealing a car, and driving erratically through Oshawa, hitting four other cars and finally a police cruiser.
Witnesses called Durham Regional Police shortly after 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 to report a man breaking into a home on Dundas and Euclid Sts. in Whitby. The witnesses reported the man entered the unoccupied home and then stole a car from a nearby apartment building.
After the man drove away, numerous witnesses called 911 to report a car driving wildly through Whitby and into Oshawa. The car struck four other cars and a home. Police tracked the car down to Kitchener and Dean Aves. about 10 kilometres east of the break-in.
The police cruiser convened to stop the car, but it rear-ended a cruiser and peeled off. It t-boned another cruiser before coming to a stop. Two officers received minor injuries in the crashes.
Blair Hamilton, 45 of no fixed address, was charged with possession of stolen property, fleeing police and breaking probation. Tyler Donnelly, 25 of Bowmanville, is charged with possession of stolen property, and two counts of breaking probation. Hamilton remains in custody with conditions while Donnelly was released with conditions. None of the charges have been proven in court.
