Two arrested in Oshawa pharmacy robbery investigation

Police have arrested two men in connection to the brazen daylight robbery of a pharmacy in Oshawa last week.

The robbery took place October 18 around 4 p.m. Four men entered the Eastview IDA Pharmacy on King Street East armed with knives. They assaulted two workers and made off with an undisclosed amount of drugs before escaping in a waiting getaway car.

Durham Police say they discovered a quantity of prescription drugs at one location  after executing two search warrants on homes in Barrie and Toronto in conjunction with local police.

D’Andre Junior, 18, of Barrie and Sharmake Hassan, 20, of Toronto both face a variety of robbery and drug charges.

Police are still looking for two more suspects in their investigation.
