Two charged after Bowmanville bust uncovers drug stash, loaded pistols

Four people have been shot in York

Two people from Bowmanville are facing numerous drug and firearm charges after York Regional Police raided a home and a storage locker in town uncovering loaded handguns and a “significant quantity” of drugs.

York police began their investigation in January. After a month-long investigation officers arrested a Bowmanville man on February 2.

The man was in possession of a loaded handgun, ammunition, drug packaging materials and $20,000 in Canadian cash, according to YRP.

Police later executed a search warrant at the man’s home and a storage locker, both in Bowmanville. In the locker, investigators found $580,000 in cash, another loaded pistol, and a large drug stash.

Per police, the locker held;

  • 69 litres of Hydrocodone in 138 bottles
  • 380 litres of codeine in 982 bottles
  • 5.6 kilograms of cocaine,
  • 1,634 Fentanyl pills
  • 575 Oxycodone pills,
  • 549 grams of methamphetamine,
  • 1.12 kilograms of psilocybin mushrooms,
  • 262 grams of mushroom edibles,
  • 38 grams of MDMA,
  • two grams of purple Fentanyl,
  • 107 Seraline Hydrochloride pills,
  • 24.45 kilograms of cannabis bud,
  • 295 grams hash,
  • 298 grams of Shatter (a highly concentrated cannabis extract),
  • more than 2,000 pack
  • ages of cannabis vape pens, cannabis edibles, cannabis cereals and liquid THC drinks.

Brett Mann and Elisabeth Harvey, both 23 of Bowmanville, are charged with 16 firearm, drug possession and drug trafficking charges.
