Two men from Oshawa have been charged with a battery of offenses in connection to two burglaries at the homes of two separate Oshawa seniors.

The first break-and-enter took place on Oshawa’s Lasalle Ave on March 3. A woman called police to report two men entered her house a side-window, stole jewelry, cash and other items and then slipped out through a backdoor while she slept.

Two days later, on March 5, another elderly woman called the cops from her home on Oshawa’s Mohawk St. She reported her kitchen was “disturbed” and items were missing from her house.

After an investigation, police arrested two men they suspect to be involved.
