Two Oshawa teens arrested in armed robbery at Durham College

Two teens have been arrested after an armed robbery on the Durham College campus.

The victim was walking near the College bus terminal shortly before 5 a.m. on Jan. 18. He was attacked by two men, one of whom was a armed with a knife. The pair stole the victim’s phone and ran from the campus. The victim was unharmed.

Durham Region Police were soon dispatched to the area. They found a pair of suspects a short distance away and arrested them without incident.

The pair are 15 and 17 years old respectively. Neither can be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act. Both have been charged with robbery and have been release with conditions.
