Two Pickering arsonists remain at large three weeks after they set car ablaze

Two arsonists remain at large after setting a car on fire in Pickering three weeks ago.

The pair went to a home near Strouds Ln. and Rosebank Rd. around 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 24. They pulled up in a small, light-coloured sedan which may have been an Acura. Then they got out of the car and approached a parked BMW X3. They doused the SUV in gasoline in set it ablaze.

Investigators are calling for the public’s help in identifying the arsonists. One is described as a tall Black man with a medium build. He was wearing a black balaclava, grey sweater, grey jogging pants, and brown/black shoes. The other is also a tall man with a medium build, though he wore a grey hoodie and dark jeans.
