Two violent home invaders remain at large in Pickering: police

Police in Durham Region are on the lookout for two suspects after a violent home invasion in Pickering.
The incident occurred this past summer — at 2 p.m. on June 12, 2024 — where two male suspects forced their way into a residential apartment complex in the region of Valley Farm Road and Pickering Parkway, in Pickering.
In their report, Durham Regional Police indicated that the suspects, armed with both a crowbar and taser, assaulted a homeowner in the apartment complex while looking for valuables.

The suspects fled the scene before police could arrive.
The First suspect is described as:
- Male.
- With a medium build.
- Wearing a black balaclava mask, grey hoodie, grey jogging pants, and black/white running shoes.
The Second suspect is described as:
- Male.
- With a medium build.
- Wearing a blue jacket, grey hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.
Both suspects are said to be associated with a red and white motorcycle as well as a silver Audi sedan, according to Durham police.
Police are asking anyone with footage or information of the incident to contact them directly or send an anonymous report to Crime Stoppers.
