Two wanted in theft of debit cards from seniors from Oshawa to Pickering

Two men are wanted after several seniors had their debit cards stolen at ATMs across Durham Region.
The men allegedly targeted several victims throughout the Region between March and July 2024. The pair would wait until a target used an ATM. Then one would approach the victim and distract them by claiming the victim had dropped some money.
During this exchange, the second man would steal the victim’s debit card. The pair would then immediately spend as much of the victims’ money as they could,. Durham Police report.
Investigators have released images of a pair of unidentified suspects they believe may be connected to the thefts. However, they did not specify where these thefts took place or how many victims were there are.
