GO Train, Pickering

Police are hunting for a man accused of unprovoked assaults on two women in separate incidents on the GO Train Monday, with one woman taken to hospital.

Durham Regional Police say the assaults happened with hours of one another and have provided a description of the man who they believe is responsible for both assaults but few other details.

The suspect is described as Black 25-30 with as medium build and short braided hair. He was wearing a Toronto Raptors sweater that is black/white on the front with a red symbol on the right arm and a black circular Raptors symbol. He was wearing black/grey pants and white/black shoes.

The woman in the first incident was treated on the scene; the second victim had to be transported to a local hospital. Police are warning people to not approach if you see a man fitting the description but to call 911.
