Indecent act Oshawa

An unidentified man has been accused of committing an indecent act in front of a mother and child in an Oshawa Walmart.

The woman and her child were shopping at the Harmony Road Walmart around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 21. As they browsed, a man began to follow them through the isles, Durham Police allege.

Investigators say the man committed an indecent act in front of the pair. After this, the mother and child left the store and called the police. Neither was physically hurt.

Around 11 a.m. a different woman was walking down a track near school by Coldstream Drive and Harmony Road North when the same man allegedly approached her. This track sits just north of the Walmart near Maxwell Chatta Heights Secondary School.

The man walked the track for a few laps before exposing himself to the second woman. She also quickly left the track and called police. She likewise was not physically hurt.

Police describe the suspect as a Black man standing about five-foot-three with a medium build. He wore a black toque a cream or beige hoodie, black and white plaid pyjama pants, and black slippers.
