Unidentified suspect sought after e-scooter theft in Pickering

An unidentified suspect is wanted after an electric scooter was stolen from Pickering.
The man arrived at the 938 Liverpool Rd. Tim Horton’s on May 22 and allegedly made off with the scooter. Durham Regional Police announced their investigation weeks later on June 13. Police describe the suspect as 5-foot-10 with a brown beard. He was wearing a Blue Jays baseball hat, a red hoody, blue pants, and white Nike shoes. He was carrying a red backpack.
Police did not describe the circumstances of the theft.
