Unlicensed Botox clinic operating from Oshawa home busted

Durham police have arrested a man suspected of operating an unregistered cosmetic clinic from his Oshawa home.
They believe the clinic was performing Botox, nose jobs, and filler and hair transplant surgeries. Officers executed a search warrant at the Pilgrim Square home on October 6, seizing documents and evidence.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Durham Region Health Department, and Durham EMS assisted with the investigation.
Isaac Aceveda, 51, was arrested during the search without incident. He is charged with false pretence under $5,000 and was later released with conditions.
