Clarington has launched an internal Vendor Directory to connect local businesses with municipal contracts.

The directory will create opportunities for businesses and industries in the community to help staff identify companies that can provide quotes for projects, services and goods within Clarington, such as printing, branded materials, consulting and more.

All businesses and individual vendors that operate in or serve Clarington are encouraged to register for the directory at www.clarington.net/VendorDirectory.

The Vendor Directory is intended for smaller contracts. Clarington follows a traditional public tendering process for contracts and projects valued at $100,000 or more.

And while inclusion in the directory increases exposure for businesses, it does not guarantee a contract with the municipality.

To learn more and view open bids, visit www.clarington.net/bids or consult Clarington’s procurement by-law for more information.
