Oshawa Fire Services quickly knocked down a house that erupted as residents fled through the front door.
A home on Kitchener Ave. caught fire around noon on Aug. 22. Video of the fire was recorded from the neighbouring McDonald’s parking lot. As seen in the video, the blaze seemed to have emerged behind the home before spreading to the main structure.
The video, shared by Kyle Taylor, shows the residents of the home fleeing out the front door as the fire spreads. As they escape, first responders arrive on scene to tackle the blaze.
