UPDATE: Vulnerable, non-verbal teen reported missing in Whitby

Update: In a post at 8:41 a.m., Police said they located the missing 18-year-old male from Whitby safe and sound.

Police are searching for a vulnerable, non-verbal teen reported missing in Whitby.
Zachary, 18, was last seen in the Beech Street and Palace Street area of Whitby around 5:30 a.m. Friday, Durham Regional Police said in a post on X.
Zachary is non-verbal and functions at the level of an eight-year-old, police said.
Police said he was not wearing any clothing.
Anyone who sees Zachary should call the police immediately. Durham Regional Police can be reached at 905-579-1520.
