Warrant issued for Oshawa teen who fired his gun at another man

A warrant has been issued for a suspect who is wanted on numerous firearm charges including firing a gun at a man in Oshawa in early December.

On Saturday, December 10 at approximately 9:30 p.m., Central East Division officers were dispatched to the area of Nassau Street and King Street West in Oshawa, just west of downtown, for an armed person call. Police say the suspect became physical with another man and subsequently fired at him. The suspect missed his target and fled southbound on Nassau.

Officers on scene located a shell casing. No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect has now been identified.

A warrant has been issued for: Antjuan Lewis, 18 of Oshawa. Lewis is wanted for 17 charges which include discharge Firearm with intent to wound/endanger life; possess weapon for committing offence; pointing a firearm and assault.
