Water truck and car collide in Scugog sending both into the ditch

A water truck and car got into a head-on collision up in Scugog sending both vehicles into the ditch.
According to the OPP, the pair crashed on Hwy 12 at Scugog Line 10 shortly before 3 p.m. on Apr. 13. The drivers both sustained only minor injuries.
They did tell other motorists to expect delays through the area until they can get the vehicles pulled from the ditch. Some lanes have been shut down until the cars are out.
Durham Regional Police also responded to the scene. Their North Division blamed carelessness for the crash saying “Although driving is a common, everyday activity, it can be dangerous if the driver fails to pay attention to what is going on around them. Please drive safely.
