Too soon?

There is no ‘official’ cold weather alert issued by Environment Canada for Durham Region today, but Thursday evening’s -8 temperature feels like -17 with the wind chill so bundle up.

And then be prepared to break out the shorts Sunday, if you’re so inclined, when the temperature hits a positively balmy 13 degrees. With showers expected you can forget about the beach but still. Thirteen degrees!

The following day? Back to zero with snow flurries. Go figure.
