Whitby man faces charges after credit card fraud investigation

Police believe a Whitby man used a fraudulent credit card to buy over a quarter-million dollars worth of goods over the summer.
Durham Police say a business credit card was used to buy items online from May to September of 2021. Investigators located the suspect and executed a search warrant at his home on November 3. They arrested the man and seized the product.
Ryan Singh, 40, faces charges of fraud over $5000, possession of property obtained by crime and unauthorized use of a credit card.
