The Town of Whitby is creating a new four-year Tourism Strategy and wants the public’s help in its development.

Whitby is a little different from most large (100,000-plus) towns in that it has two distinct downtowns in Whitby proper and downtown Brooklin in the north end. It also has a waterfront, plenty of green spaces, culinary and entertainment stops and a craft brewery hub – to name just a few – making the job of highlighting all those features difficult without feedback from residents.

Visitors, local businesses and residents are invited to share their favourite places in Whitby and in the two downtowns by completing a survey between now and September 30.

Feedback collected will help to inform the creation of the new strategy being developed for Council approval later this year.
