The Ignite Durham Learning Foundation (IDLF) wants to make tomorrow brighter for impoverished students in Durham with an online community auction.

The foundation, a charitable organization operating within the Durham District School Board that believes every child should have a nutritious lunch and be dressed for the weather so they can succeed in post-secondary education, is inviting the community to participate in the first annual Make Tomorrow Brighter auction event.

Participants will have an opportunity to bid on a variety of unique items, services, and packages donated by local businesses and individuals, including tech gadgets, fine jewellery, unique experiences and specialty beverages,

All proceeds benefit IDLF initiatives, supporting equitable opportunities for students.

Bidding started Monday and will run until March 5 at 4 p.m. at https://trellis.org/make-tomorrow-brighter-auction.
