Woman found seriously injured in Ajax

A woman was rushed to hospital after she was discovered in Ajax this morning with life-threatening injuries.
The woman was found near the intersection of Harwood Ave. and Kingston Rd. in the downtown core around 5 a.m. Sept. 20. She had sustained life-threatening injuries, according to Durham Regional Police, who have not yet confirmed the nature of those injuries or how they occurred.

Update 12 p.m.: Police have re-opened the roadway, which they had closed for their investigation. They did not share any further details about the case but said they would release more information when it became available. There has likewise been no update on the woman’s condition.
