A woman remains in hospital with serious injuries after driving the wrong way on the 401 late Saturday night.
The woman was driving a white SUV westbound in the eastbound lane just before midnight on October 17, according to the OPP. She struck another vehicle, a grey sedan, head-on.
Paramedics took the driver of the SUV to hospital with serious injuries. Police say charges against her are pending.
The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.
Eastbound lanes were closed from Brock Street to Simcoe Street for several hours for the investigation and clean-up. They have since re-opened.
