Woman sent to hospital after Mother’s Day stabbing in Oshawa

A woman was stabbed multiple times on Carleton Court in Oshawa’s south end just before noon on Sunday.
A man is in custody.
The woman was taken to a Toronto trauma centre where she is listed in serious condition.
Durham Police say there were no other injuries or concerns for public safety at this time.
There is no word from police if this was a domestic attack.
