Youth stabbed on bus at Pickering GO Station, Oshawa teen charged

A male youth was stabbed during an alleged verbal altercation at the Pickering GO Station on late Thursday afternoon (May 9).

Durham Police responded to an assault call about a youth who was allegedly stabbed by a teenager on a Durham public bus parked at the GO Station, located at 1322 Bayly St., around 4:20 p.m.

The youth was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The teenager was located at the GO Station and taken into custody without incident.

Police said both the victim and suspect are known to each other.

A 15-year-old male from Oshawa is charged with assault causing bodily harm and possess weapon dangerous to the public.

The teenager was released to his guardian.
