Youth ‘violently assaulted’ in Pickering robbery, search on for four male youths

A search is on for four males who police allege violently assaulted and robbed another youth in Pickering.
On Monday, July 20,2024, Durham Regional Police responded to reports of a robbery call at a coffee shop around 6:45 p.m. in the area of Kingston Road and Liverpool Road.
“Four male youth confronted another male youth and demanded his shoes and clothes,” allege Durham police. “The suspects violently assaulted the victim when he did not give them his property.
“All four suspects fled the area prior to police arrival.”
The victim of the assault was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The descriptions of the four males are:
First Suspect:
A Black male who is five-foot-10 and between 16 and 20 years of age. He had dreadlock styled hair and was wearing a blue sweater and black jeans.
Second Suspect:
Is a Black male, approximately five-foot-six, and 16- to 20-years-old. He was wearing a ski mask with a camouflage style sweater with a hood, and black jeans.
Third Suspect:
Is described as a Black male who is approximately five-foot-seven and between 16- to 20-years-old. He had short, braided hair and was wearing a black sweater, and jeans.
Fourth Suspect:
Is described as a black male and between 16- to 20-years-old.
