Search ongoing for stabbing suspect in Oshawa

A search is underway for an unidentified suspect of yesterday’s stabbing in downtown Oshawa.
A man was stabbed around 11 a.m. on May 28 near Simcoe Street South and John Street West, according to Durham Police.
Investigators said a fight broke out in front of a business by Memorial Park. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering stab wounds.
He was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. However, he has recovered some and his condition has been upgraded to stable.
Police shut down the block along Simcoe Street between John Street and Lloyd Street for several hours to investigate the scene.
